- Audio recording: To capture audio from device microphone for camera functionality or local recording
- Audio settings: To modify audio playback and recording parameters
- NOTE: Audio is recorded locally and is not transmitted unless explicitly configured for streaming.
1.6 Bluetooth and Wireless Connectivity
For local device connectivity:
- Bluetooth permissions: To discover and connect to Bluetooth cameras and wireless accessories
- Bluetooth scanning: To discover available Bluetooth devices nearby
- Bluetooth advertisement: To allow other devices to discover this app
- WiFi state access: To detect available WiFi networks and connection status
- WiFi control: To change WiFi settings for connecting to cameras
- Network settings: To optimize connectivity
- Nearby WiFi devices: To discover WiFi-enabled cameras and devices on your network
- NOTE: All local network communication is encrypted and conducted only with devices on your local network.
1.7 Phone and Device State
Technical permissions used for app optimization:
- Phone state reading: To optimize app behavior during calls
- Vibration control: For user feedback and notifications
- Wake lock: To keep the device awake during active monitoring or streaming
- Boot completion: To start background services after device restart
- Full screen intent: For critical notifications (Android 10+)

Important clarifications:
- Location data is NEVER transmitted to external servers without explicit consent. It is used only for local device discovery.
- Camera streams and recordings remain on your device or local network and are not uploaded unless you explicitly configure cloud backup.
- Audio recordings are stored locally and not transmitted.
- We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do NOT share data with advertisers (except aggregated analytics).
- Phone state and device identifiers are used only internally for app optimization.
